PROMOTIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

Indieville is expanding its promotional partnerships by joining forces with several distributors and production companies. The projects that we highlight are some of the best of the best in independents. The rationale behind building specific partnerships with these companies is so that lesser known films that have limited theatrical distribution can find a grassroots audience. Our newsletter will be expanded in the coming months to highlight these films.

REVIEWS FOR RECENT RELEASES

Indieville has at least 3-5 new film reviews on our website each month. In order to provide these timely reviews, we asked that distributors get us advance copies of DVDs or provide us with press screening information. Contrary to Johnny Cash's belief that Delia Rimer is "low down and trifling... and... cold and mean," Delia is a good kid.A recent grad of Sarah Lawrence, Delia spends her days sleeping and dreaming of a world that is free of Bush and his cronies. In addition to being the head writer for Indieville, Rimer was nominated for five Taco-eating awards in 1999. Unfortunately, she was beaten by Adrien Brody. Delia grew up in the Bay Area and Oak Park, IL , yet she is happy to have settled in New York. She performs stand up around the city, and is hoping to make it in the biz without sleeping with Harvey Weinstein.. Uchenna (means "God's Will" in the Ibo language of Nigeria) Anyanwu has nearly ten years of television production experience, having produced, camera operated, or performed for BET, ABC, ESPN, MTV, and FOX's American Idol (eek!), to name a few. He created "THEnevermoreNETWORK" public access comedy/variety program. The show has broadcast on FOX in Palm Springs, CA, UPN in Albany, NY, and NBC in Panama City, FL, for syndication in 2002. What next? The question would ultimately be answered with his acquisition (by force) of a disc jockey position for Clear Channel Radio's 96.1/99.3 KISS FM of Hudson Valley, NY, an hour north of NYC. Uchenna also is a daily participant on FUSE TV's live television show, "IMX", giving feedback and input on music videos, and posing questions to various music artists including 50 Cent and Joe Buddens. Watch out for Uchenna to become a big, enormous, gigantic, huge, freakin' star. He's taking guitar lessons these days, and who knows. Maybe he'll drop entertaining on tv and radio for a career of tour buses, live audiences, Chex, mugs, and rock & roll!!

As a child growing up, Jared Morgan has always had a special gift of fixing things that weren't broken. Although this angered his parents sometimes, they knew that he would one day have a knack for making things work. Jared would also pursue his love for music by playing the french horn and starting his own DJ company. As school came to an end, he enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard to give back to his country, as well as to find a way to pay for college. Cha ching. At Montclair State University, Jared pursued a BA in Broadcasting. His passion for music finally met a visual medium, and from that point on he has focused his efforts on television production. With his degree in broadcasting at Montclair State University, Jared has been pursuing his career in television production through freelance editing and videography. Facilitated by the purchase of his own 24p camera and editing equipment, he has worked with such clients as Comedy Central, the National Music Council, and WiredKids.Org, and most importantly, Indieville.
